While at the Harris County District Attorney's Office I was assigned to the Family Criminal Law Division. This division of the DA's office prosecutes family violence offences including assault family member, assault family member #2, aggravated assault on a family member and violation of a protective order. While assigned to the FCLD division I learned how the DA's office prepares these cases. They are very specialized.
